Is there a built-in shutter release on the Pro-View?
No . Many good wireless shutter releases are available to use with the Pro-View. Not tying the release to the Pro-view makes the system
more flexible, and allows the photographer to choose a wireless release, with the features they desire. A remote release button mounting
bracket is supplied with each display unit, for one-hand operation.
How long is the rechargeable battery life?
Battery life is approximately 4 hours on the camera/transmitter, and 10 hours on the display/receiver. Cold temperatures will reduce
battery life.
How long does it take to charge the batteries?
If batteries are fully discharged, 6 to 8 hours will give a full recharge.
How far away can I get from my camera using the Pro-View?
500 feet is possible, with a clear line of sight to the camera. When objects are between you and the camera, distance will diminish,
depending on the type of objects and number of objects. The display has a signal strength meter, to assist with positioning the display for
the best signal.
What is the FHSS technology used by the Pro-View?
Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) is a method of transmitting radio signals, by switching a carrier among many frequency
channels, using sequences known to both the transmitter and receiver. Using FHSS greatly reduces interference, both transmitted and
received, and creates a secure, high-quality transmission.
Does the Pro-View have an adjustable focus?
The Pro-View over-the-eyepiece video camera has a fixed focus, and uses the diopter adjustment on your camera to fine tune the focus,
if necessary.
Does the Pro-View have a multiple camera feature?
The Pro-View monitor will handle up to 4 cameras. Also, the Quad feature allows the user to view up to 4 separate cameras,
simultaneously. Additional transmitters are available.
